Two elderly individuals in the hospital even stayed to us have worship with sister Williams. (This man in the photo, Mr. Barnett, even prayed with us before we left)
After a few songs Ms. Drew read Hosea Chapter 11 (it seemed to be a very popular chapter this week, you should check it out). She explained what it meant to her and why she selected that chapter.
We sang a few more hymns then we collectively read revelation 21 & 22 (also something you should consider reading if you have some free time)

We stood in a circle around sister Williams where each person gave a sentence prayer (some people had run on sentences), then we headed to see Sister Armeror. Before I continue I must say it was a sight to see Sister Robinson visiting her old friend. Once she heard that we were going to see the sick and shut in she automatically asked if we were going to see sister Williams with an eagerness I have never seen before. Then when sister Robinson actually saw sister Williams, the expression was indescribable.
When we got to sister Armeror house she was totally surprise and made sure that she hugged and great every one before they sat down (sorry about the pics, my nerves are not that good. I’m getting old you know)

she went on about who she remembered out of the group an talked about why she couldn’t make it to church as often as she wanted to.

By the way she expressed her self you can tell that she was happy to see us. She practically ran the show. She gave, better yet told us what she wanted us to sing (they weren’t in the hymnal so we ended up humming a couple of parts to those selection). We pretty much did the same thing with Sister Amorer that we did with Sister Williams, but Sister Armorer was able to contribute more because her condition wasn’t as bad. I found Sister Armorer prayer profound and invigorating when we were got into a circle. We ended off our visit with her by giving her a get well card and reading to her what we wrote individually.
I couldn’t fathom ending off our Sabbath any other way. We hope to see you take part in our next voyage to provide food to the homeless individuals in the community as well as give them words of encouragement. We look forward to your company. Join us, will you?
